Hey all!
Welcome to VarosPvP! This server has come a long way. If you are reading this, the website and server is most likely still in development. We are currently importing all plugins and maps to make sure this server is as fun as we imagine it to be. The beta version of this server will include only minigames/arena based PvP and PvE. We will livestream most, if not all, events that will happen when the beta version is out. The beta WILL be open to everyone and we hope you come by to enjoy what we have been making.
Now let's talk about the release. The server will be split into three different phases.
Minigames (Beta)
Minigames will revolve around PvP/PvE combat in arenas that will show people what we have in mind to make the minigames more interesting. We feel as if most minigames are very linear. The ones we are creating will offer more than that, and I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Economy (Pre-Release)
The Economy aspect of VarosPvP will really hold high priority. We want this to be a player driven economy with the help of McMMO to bring out the job-based progression that we strive for. Players will be able to level up certain jobs that will show how great of a Blacksmith, or Fisher, or even Enchanter they are. You will be able to set up your own shop, advertise it properly, and sell the finest goods you gathered to make a good chunk of change. The server will feature its own shop, but will slowly get more limited as time goes by. We want to encourage the player-based economy as much as possible, and I am sure you will enjoy it.
Factions (Release)
This is the final release of the server. Factions is our strong suit when hosting servers. Of course factions will NOT be the focal point of the server; it will still be in our best intentions and highest priority to give you more content for this server. Factions will allow you to create your own clan/guild with other players to give you the edge in this ever-growing server. You will be able to set up a faction based around being Industrialists, or Economical Connoisseurs, or the renown PvP experts. It's all up to you.
Release of the server will NOT come until 1.6!!!
As you can see, we really strive to make this a different kind of Faction server. We want to focus on the community first, content second, and anything else third. The community we want to create will be active, fun, and interesting!
